Sherry joined Stamford after relocating back to Hong Kong from New Zealand. Sherry has over 10 years of teaching experience and has taught at international schools in Hong Kong and in New Zealand. Sherry has worked with children from kindergarten to grade 12 and has many years of experience teaching IB Chinese Language courses. Sherry has always had a keen interest in languages. She first obtained a Bachelor’s in English Linguistics and Literature and further pursued a PGDE and a Master’s of Teaching in Chinese as a Foreign Language.

Sherry says, “I am passionate about developing confidence in my students, I love when they can feel their progress and become more excited to speak Mandarin. When teaching, I want to develop not only a love for the language but also a love for Chinese culture to inspire lifelong learning.”
