Stamford American School – Hong Kong is a world-class international school launching September 2017, offering a rigorous standards-based education for children aged 5 to 18 years old. We are proud to grow our Stamford community following our huge success in our Singapore campus, which today has a vibrant community of over 3,000 students from 70 countries. Our aim is for your child to achieve more than they believe they can, both academically and as citizens of our increasingly globalized world.
We offer the challenging American Education Reaches Out (AERO) and Common Core Plus frameworks for all grade levels, and Stamford seeks to offer the rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Grades 11 and 12. Stamford American School Hong Kong is currently in the program’s candidacy phase and hopes to achieve authorization by spring 2020 in advance of the first cohort in the fall of 2021. All students who complete minimum credit requirements earn the Stamford American High School Diploma. Additionally, those who complete the requirements of the IBDP earn that qualification as well. Both qualifications, complemented with personalized college guidance support, are tickets to the best-fit university for each student. We are proud to have 90% of our graduates from our Singapore campus accepted to their 1st choice university or college.
Stamford offers daily Chinese or Spanish from age 5 and a unique Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Innovation (STEMinn) program that challenges students in these disciplines through critical thinking and real-world application. Our innovation program at Stamford is also supported by our Global Mentor Program that brings international thought leaders, artists and athletes to engage with our students.
