Alan Erickson

Alan has been working at Stamford American School Hong Kong since we first opened back in August of 2017. He joined us from another member of the Cognita Schools Group, The Australian International School in Singapore, where he worked as a Physical Education and Mathematics Teacher for five years. Alan has been involved at Stamford American School in a number of capacities during his time here. He started as a Physical Education Teacher and CCA Director and has since moved into his current role of Safety and Student Welfare Principal where his first priority is to support the Health and Safety of our Stamford School Community. Alan has been responsible for developing our Co-Curricular Programs here at school during these last four years. He has helped to plan and organize the Outdoor Education Camps that all of our Grade 3 – Grade 11 students enjoy each year. These learning opportunities have provided a lasting impact on all of our students as well as the school community as a whole. Alan will continue to ensure our students enjoy a safe and happy school experience during their time at Stamford Hong Kong.

Prior to his time in Singapore and his time spent here with Stamford American School Hong Kong, Alan is originally from California and he spent twenty years living in Australia.
