Stamford offers an inquiry-based curriculum using American standards with continuous assessment for Pre-Primary to Grade 8. Our Secondary school will grow over the next few years and culminate with Grade 12 completing the IBDP.
We are committed to every child achieving more than they believe they can. To do this we work closely with our parent community, offer a rigorous and academic-focused curriculum and a wide range of co-curricular activities, and we provide inspiring and diverse experiences for our students through our Global Mentor program.

Stamford American School
Carol provides leadership, strategic planning and management of the admissions process to Stamford. Prior to joining Stamford, she was a member of the founding team at a successful newly-established international school and in total, she has been in the education industry for 10+ years. Carol holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree from the U.K. as well as a Trinity CertTESOL teaching children with English as a Second Language. Carol has two teenage children and is familiar with both local and international schooling. She is bilingual - a native English speaker with Cantonese.
Pamela brings to Stamford her extensive knowledge of international schools in Hong Kong and her 5+ years of direct experience in Admissions. She has lived in Hong Kong for over twelve years and can offer great help and guidance for expat families. She has also lived in the Philippines, USA, Iran and Singapore, and is a native English speaker.
Zita brings to Stamford her extensive customer service experience with a particular focus on managing multinational senior executives throughout her career. Her care for her customers and her attention to detail make her an excellent support to families seeking for school for their children. She is highly skilled in communicating with diverse cultures to develop trust and respect, and is proficient in Mandarin in addition to English and Cantonese.
Prior to joining Stamford, Cathy has worked in the education and international schooling sector for almost 5 years. Her excellent communication skill and consistent professionalism, particularly in handling parent questions enables her to add a deeper dimension to supporting families through the admissions process at Stamford. She has excellent English and can also speak Cantonese and Mandarin.
Tommy holds Bachelor's Degree from Monash University in Australia and has comprehensive experience in education including working as PA to Head of Primary, Lower Shool Executive Officer and Education Assistant in different international schools and institutions in Hong Kong. He enjoys watching children learn and grow in confidence and he is experienced in interacting with children. He is also a technology enthusiast and a certified Google Educator. He is a native speaker of English.
