The IB diploma is accepted at over 2,000 universities worldwide, and it provides a well-rounded rigorous international education for students. Stamford offers IBDP* as one of the graduating pathways and focuses on preparing students for IBDP without sacrificing whole-child development. Stamford’s curriculum is delivered using an inquiry-based approach combined with American Education Reaches Out (AERO) and Common Core Plus standards. This combination provides students with a solid foundation in literacy and mathematics to ensure they are positioned to be academically successful in the IBDP in grades 11 and 12. Success in today's society is not reliant on academic success; well-rounded individuals with positive learning attitudes and courage to face challenges will get ahead in today's world. Ms. Teresa Foard, our Secondary School Principal, will be sharing how Stamford prepares students for IBDP and successful life as adults.
