English Ability Assessment

This course uses a standard English proficiency assessment to place students in one of two English levels, Foundation or Intermediate. Students are assessed throughout the semester to ensure they are achieving growth. The end of semester English assessment is a significant factor in determining if the student has met the course's standard for graduation. Throughout the intensive program, students receive daily individualized feedback in the form of classroom projects, homework, quizzes, and tests to accurately monitor our students' progress.
