Stamford American School Hong Kong (Stamford) proudly announces the opening of its West Kowloon campus on October 13, 2025. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the new campus is purpose-built to serve as the pre-university campus for High School students, paving the way for their university success. To celebrate this significant milestone, Stamford is also delighted to reintroduce the Spirit of Stamford High School Scholarship Program, providing substantial tuition support to exceptional talents to join the school community. 

Championing Pre-University Education Through Innovative Campus Design

Embracing the concept of ‘turning every corner into an intentional learning space’, the West Kowloon campus transformed a traditional school setting into a dynamic learning environment. Wide hallways, a multi-purpose atrium, and an open campus bistro spark innovation among students, mirroring the interactive atmosphere students can expect to experience at the university.

The thoughtfully designed three-storey layout creates distinct ‘learning neighborhoods’ tailored to different educational activities:

• Ground Floor – Vibrant school life and creative zone for self-expression
• First Floor – The Humanities zone with library and classrooms for collaborative learning
• Second Floor – Serenity for focused scientific research and well-being

This innovative design nurtures students’ creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking—essential skills for future university success and for taking self-directed learning a step further.

Beyond the spatial design, the sophisticated details at the new West Kowloon campus also shape student behavior, preparing them for university life cognitively and culturally. The intentional choice of natural color tone, as well as the acoustic materials, creates a university-like atmosphere that enhances concentration. The cutting-edge circadian lighting system in all classrooms boosts student alertness and engagement throughout the day. Introducing the Spirit of Stamford High School Scholarship Program for External Talents

To mark the campus opening, Stamford offers exclusive Scholarships to the most talented students to nurture and challenge them through the bespoke Stamford High School program. This financial award is open to any students currently in Grades 9-11 (S3-S5 in local schools) who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, or specialist expertise. The scholarship recipients will receive a tuition fee offset for the upcoming academic year, with most exceptional students eligible to complete the full International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) tuition-free.
