The Stamford American Middle School program (Grades 6-8) builds upon the solid academic and learning skills foundation developed in elementary school. Students are stretched with enhanced rigor and dedicated specialists courses to prepare them for the choices and challenges of high school.

High School - Grades 9-12 (Ages 14-18)

The Stamford American High School program (Grades 9-12 ) offers 25+ course options and three globally recognized graduating pathways. All graduates will receive the Stamford American US High School Diploma accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), which provides your child a passport to universities globally. Children can also pursue the full IBDP or select curated IB courses to broaden their horizons as over 5,000 universities accept the IBDP in 100 countries.

The foundation of the Stamford curriculum is the proven American Education Reaches Out and Common Core Plus standards. The adoption of grade-level standards ensures that students have the skills and concepts in each subject to be ready for success in the next grade level. Ultimately, students are better-ready for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and universities and colleges globally. A particular focus on math, literacy, and sciences helps set this curriculum apart from other through-train IB schools.

Online Application - Pre-primary to Grade 12

We offer admissions on a rolling basis, so students can start school any time during the academic year if space is available in their grade. Please note that classes are only offered from Pre-Primary to Grade 11 in the 2021/22 academic year and we will offer Pre-Primary to Grade 12 in 2022/23. We are a through-train school, and once your child enrolls at Stamford, they can attend until the graduation – no need to reapply.

Through the thick and thin my school has backed me up and supported me. Due to the innovative and passionate teachers, I’ve been able to unlock my full potential that I’ve always envisioned myself to one day show. I’ve found school and learning as something to enjoy now, and it’s all thanks to the incredible staff here that has shaped me into the young man I am today. One of the most important things I credit the school so much for is how much we preach mental health awareness here.

Personally, I think mental health is something that often gets overlooked, but having a strong mental mindset really plays a huge role in being the best version of yourself. I feel like we teach that really well here at Stamford. I’m so thankful to be a part of this ever-growing community. These past few years have been the most memorably special years of my life. I have learned so much and could not be more grateful for all of the wonderful people I’ve been so lucky to have met on my journey, as well as all of the opportunities this school has provided me to truly showcase my talents.
