Writing Workshop: Practical Ways to Support our Children as Writers
Writing is an effective way to express one's self. At the same time, writing can be challenging for many children. During this interactive session, learn how to support your children as they take the journey to become empowered and passionate writers. Parents will gain a deeper understanding of how your children are learning to become writers. Get ready for an interactive and fun session! This session is led by a visiting international literacy expert, this is one workshop not to miss! We will also hold a school tour (optional) for the afternoon session attendees.

Mr. Vincent Ventura is an international literacy consultant and the director of LitLife International. Vincent provides professional development in literacy throughout the world. When working in schools, he focuses on help creating learning environments where students are independent and empowered. Vincent works with administrators, teachers, parents, and students to hear their voice, and use it to continue creating positive change in the world. Based out of Monterrey, Mexico, Vincent acts as a consultant for schools across the globe, including such countries as Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curaçao, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Suriname. More recently, he has expanded his reach to Austria, Côte D’Ivoire, Hong Kong, Kuwait, and Malaysia.
