Mario Colbacchini

Mario joined Stamford as an accomplished musician with over twenty years of teaching experience. Mario studied Music at the B.Marcello Conservatory in Venice (Italy) and obtained a Masters of Arts 1 in Music Education at the Paris 8 University. Trained in the Orff-Schulwerk approach, World Music Drumming and music technology, he is an accomplished choir conductor, piano accompanist for opera singers and composer. He has taught music in international schools in France, India and Italy and is passionate about developing performance opportunities for students. In his roles, he has produced very successful student concerts and musicals, organized tours in Europe as well as performances on TV shows.

Mario says, “I feel very privileged and lucky to be able to share my passion for music in my work. As an educator, I firstly aim to help and guide the students to become mature and responsible people. Secondly, I encourage them to include the wonderful world of music and art in their lives. Finally, I strive to inspire them to be the best musicians that they can be.”
