Kristina Parisi

Kristina is originally from the U.S. and also lived in Cyprus, where she worked for the U.S. Embassy for many years before coming to Hong Kong. Seeking a career change that inspired students, she began her career in education upon joining Stamford in 2021 as a library assistant. Kristina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science after finding her true calling guiding readers in our library. Congratulations to Kristina on her promotion! Kristina is passionate about sharing her love for reading and teaching children to become lifelong readers. She encourages students to explore all that the library offers and is looking forward to creating opportunities for students of all grades to enjoy our beautiful library.

Kristina says, “I feel very fortunate to be able to promote reading and a love of books to students across all grade levels. My goal is to show students that the library and reading can be fun. I enjoy helping them find a book that truly excites them and further inspires them to become avid, life-long readers. As J.K. Rowling said…if you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book!”
