Katie joined Stamford with five years of teaching experience in the United States. She holds a master’s degree in English Language Learning. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) Endorsement and Gifted Endorsement. Her years of classroom experience allow her to utilize a variety of teaching strategies to support the diverse needs of students.

Katie says, “Schools are the doors to knowledge, and motivation is one of the keys to successful learning. I believe that students learn in different styles, that is why I love to implement engaging learning activities to keep my students motivated. Moreover, language should not be a barrier but an opportunity for them to strive for their potential. As an EAL teacher, I see myself as a facilitator to assist my students to succeed in English language learning.”
