Eva Li

Eva joined Stamford with extensive experience in teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) to students of all backgrounds, ranging from kindergarten to grade 12 learners to adult immigrants in the US. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from University of Pennsylvania and was the recipient of 2017 Teresa Pica Award for Excellence in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Eva is experienced in teaching English with a strong focus on intercultural communication and designing curriculums to suit the diverse needs of individual students.

Eva says, “I have always been fascinated by the power of language and education. My cultural exchange experience at the University of Warwick, a liberal arts college in Maine, and the University of Pennsylvania have contributed greatly to my interest and passion in culture, language, and education. As a Mandarin & English bilingual and lifelong language learner myself, I am committed to helping my students see the connection between language education and global opportunities, to assist them in becoming the new generation of world citizens, and to inspire them in achieving more than they believe they can.”
