Positive Discipline to Encourage Positive Choices
Parenting is a hard job and teaching your child to make positive choices and develop good habits is an ongoing challenge that every parent faces. Without effective routines, emotional regulation, and clear boundaries, parenting can be frustrating, but a variety of positive strategies can help. No one has all the answers, but our experienced Pre-Primary teachers face similar challenges in the classroom. They have combined their theoretical knowledge with peer-reviewed research and tried and tested strategies and are eager to share their experience and techniques.
This hands-on workshop, conducted by Ms. Ritz, Ms. Yang, and Ms. Harrison, will provide parents with the tools to create effective routines, handle tough situations, such as boundary testing and aggression, and how to guide children toward better overall behavior. This workshop is for parents of children ages 3-7, but parents of children of all ages are welcome.
