Bullying comes in many forms nowadays and is a common concern for parents. It is important that as parents we arm ourselves with the tools and strategies to help support our children to deal with, recognize, and refuse these situations. Stamford Hong Kong is hosting two sessions to give parents a deeper understanding of the signs of bullying as well as preventing bullying. Parents will also get tips and strategies to help their children.

Our experienced counselors will provide parents with in-depth information about:

How to recognize bullying

How to report bullying

How to refuse bullying

The power and responsibilities of bystanders

After the information session, we will host a Q&A session to answer your burning questions.

Our experienced counselors, Mia Nortje and Ashley Perkins, have worked in schools internationally and currently support our Stamford teachers in delivering the Second Step Program, a socio-emotional program which has been proven to increase pro-social behavior by 50%.  They also work with students on a daily basis by providing strategies to help them to regulate their emotions through tough childhood years better to be successful adults.
