Calling all coders ages 5-16! We want to see your coding skills and creativity come to life in our first “Code Your Own Adventure” competition. The challenge is simple, but the possibilities are endless!
Prizes will be awarded for the most creatively coded stories and games. No contest is complete without a theme and what a better way to welcome the new season and “Spring” into something new than with an escape into your own adventure! You wake up, it’s the start of Spring Break, where are you? In a different time or in a different location? Be innovative, be creative, let your imagination and coding skills run wild to wow our judges!
Contest Details
Students have the choice of coding either a game or a story using the same coding software Scratch.
One first prize winner will be selected for each category and additional prizes will also be awarded.
Winners will be selected by a panel of faculty judges at Stamford American School. All entries will be received by the communication department and submitted to the judges without student information to avoid potential bias during the judging process. Late entries will not be accepted for any reason.
Winners will be announced in late April on Stamford Hong Kong’s Facebook Page and the winner's photo and details of their submission will be published.
