As a multidisciplinary artist, Lester loves to practice drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and performance while pursuing a healthy lifestyle. Further personal interests include film, poetry, swimming, hiking, yoga, karaoke, singing in a local choir, and songwriting with the piano.

Ethan says, “Everyone is an artist! From the way you like to dress, the route you take to school, to the food you make; so many creative choices are made every day. To be self-aware when presenting any choices to the world and to be critical of these choices are the roles of the artist. For so many years, my limited understanding of art hindered my artistic journey: I thought that if I lacked technical brilliance, I would never be good enough. Eventually, I learned the truth from my art teachers: technique is certainly important and will develop with practice, but our ideas are what make us special. Any problem can be solved with creativity. I continue to share this idea with my students and support any individual that wishes to express themselves.”
