As we offer admissions on a rolling basis, please consider that we may receive more applications than we have spaces for. Before applying, we strongly encourage families to first check for availability of places in their child's grade by contacting the Admissions Team on +852 2500 8688 or by emailing email@example.com. Admissions meetings are available by appointment only. Please note that Stamford is opening for Pre-Primary to Grade 9 students only for the 2018-2019 academic year. We will introduce Grades 10 through 12 in the following academic year(s).
Prospective students need to submit an online application form and all required forms. A non-refundable Application Fee must be paid in order to be considered for admissions. To submit an application click here. Each application is reviewed individually and independently.
Once the required forms and documents are complete have been submitted and the Application Fee has been received, the Admissions Team and the appropriate school administration will review the application file. A time will be scheduled to meet your child to conduct an assessment (view our assessment process here).
For overseas applicants: If a face-to-face assessment is not possible, we may arrange an online assessment via Skype. Overseas applications wil be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The application will be reviewed by Stamford's Review Committee. Families will then be notified by email of the outcome within 2 weeks of the assessment. When a place is offered, the Deposit must be paid within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the acceptance letter. If the Deposit is not received within seven (7) calendar days, priority will be given to other applicants. Before students start they must also complete a Medical Form and have a valid Hong Kong visa to be eligible for a place at Stamford American School. A visitor visa does not entitle the holder to attend any school in Hong Kong.
